So I hear companies like Mattel don't have distribution hubs so they can get their products to all the stores. Instead they apparently go for a drip feed method where California gets all the good shit, and it just drips down until you get the scraps all the way in New Yorkistan.
It pisses me off because it was never THIS bad. There probably was scalping periods when I was a kid, but in general I found most of what I wanted and could get doubles without any of them beings duds. (Nowadays half the cars I get seem to be duds that can't roll and the QC is starting to russell my jimmies.)
Before Corona, fantasy casting HWs were the pegwarmers, and the nice castings that didn't look like shit used to be apart of the shitty gimmick models. Now I can't even find that, now it's just fucking screwdrivers on wheels and literal cupcakes.
