I'm still trying to work out why mp36 came out as he did, did they want to try something new for his transformation (as mp05's did try to homage the g1 figure somewhat), was it to lower the chances of people to mistake him for an actual firearm?
Because right now in Australia his legal status is he's fine, no permit required, unlike the fucking huge mp05 which still counts
