Some of my loot's been arriving:
The fancy-pants "Jiaou doll" I ordered for my original project showed up Saturday. I spent last night getting the dental floss "bikini" that comes with it onto the doll. Today the head and hairpiece I ordered to go with said doll showed up. Now comes test fitting, and finding/making clothes.

A word of warning to anyone looking to get one of these: The elbows have two points of rotation, but the upper point on both arms will be jammed in position. Seems to be a common problem with these. The fix is to rest the doll's elbows in piping-hot water for a bit to soften the plastic, then you can move them. My doll just finished resting neked in a plastic tray of hot water for an extended time, and still barely go to full flexion.
There looks to be a little plastic tooth in the joints, to allow the elbow to "snap" into place. I'm going to take an exacto and see if I can trim that tooth down, as I'm afraid I'll break the little thing's arms if I move them with this much tension on the joints. There's also a lot of plastic flash on the seams to clean up, too, so she'll get a bit of sanding as well.
Still, for the price it's a nice figure; Sturdy, decent range of motion, Head, hair, and clothes included, nice looking.
