Considering you think furniture is overpriced, youd be bitching about how much it costs to ship them to your store AND ship it to your customers, affecting your profit margin. The furniture market right now isn't exactly booming, despite revenue increasing.
You'd be better off building your own furniture and making a signficantly larger profit from doing that. Even making mods can net you good business, because people are afraid doing shit themselves.

It's no wonder that so many people complain about toys that require assembly. I think McFarlane said that he's gotten parents to call his help line to bitch that their toys were broken, because the torso or legs weren't attached to the toy because the packaging needed to be smaller to fit the shelves. This is despite the packaging explaing assembly was required and there was a pamphlet inside with instructions just to pop the the pieces together.
