don't really want to go register on some airbrush forum or something so I'll just wager and ask here.
I dropped my Paasche Talon about a week ago while cleaning (iirc the only thing attached were the nozzle, trigger, and rocker assembly). when I picked it back up I struggled to pull the trigger back.
fully disassembled and by process of elimination, I've deduced that the issue is the rocker assembly (pic related). I've tried seating and reseating the trigger + rocker assembly probably a hundred times by now but it took a lot of force to pull the trigger back when the rocker assembly is seated behind it and screwed in place. when I did pull the trigger back, the rocker assembly would get stuck in the rear position, and I'd have to push it back forward with my finger. all smooth functionality of the assembly seems to be gone.
I did a deep clean and bought some lubricant, which arrived in the mail today. the lubricant seems to have lessened the force required to pull the rocker assembly back with the trigger, but the problem still persists.
the assembly seems to be in complete working shape and undamaged. I can fully assemble the airbrush no problem; the rocker assembly seems to have this issue regardless of whether or not the airbrush is fully assembled, or whether or not the needle is in.
after a few tries I dumped a lot more lubricant in there and all over the rocker assembly+where it usually sits against the trigger, but to no avail so far. does anyone have any ideas?
