I wanted to get hype for Beyblade Burst but I wasn't crazy about the Burst gimmick and going back to plastic on plastic battles which seems like a step down from metal on metal. Also the Hasbro release make their Beyblades not compatible with the Japanese ones, so if you were really serious you would have to buildup a separate Hasbro and Japanese collection. Also I don't know why, but the Hasbro releases seem really expensive to me and they don't really go on sale. The Metal Fusion Beyblades didn't cost this much and you could sometimes get them on big discounts. This all made it hard for me to really get into it.
