Aliexpress wolfpack clones came in, my expectations were a bit low based on my one experience with bootleg antenna clones, but these are genuinely pretty nice I think. The helmet, unfortunately, has all of the problems of the official figures' removable helmet, but that was inevitable; the surprising parts were that most of the joints seem to have a bit more range of motion, most evidently in the knees, and for reasons unfathomable to me it uses the previous TVC clone body's hands with the flipped wrist directions, despite everything else being from the latest clone body. I don't hate it, honestly, it makes some two-hand blaster poses look a bit more natural, but I'm still pretty curious as to why they chose to do it. The only real complaint I can make is that the softer plastic that should've gone into making the shoulderpads more flexible was instead put into making the blasters too flexible, which is a shame but far from a dealbreaker, if I can't manage to get these long rifles to stay straightened out I have plenty of spares from the 4-packs.
Overall, easily worth the price if you like these guys since hasbro's basically guaranteed to never do them with how little screentime they got, and while they're not absolutely 100% perfect, they're miles better than you'd probably expect from a bootleg. That being said, they didn't do Boil or the medic right, Boil's armor pattern should match Waxer's, not the generic 212th, and the medic had a different armor pattern entirely as far as I can tell. I hope if/when they make more of these, they do them with the non-removable helmet, but if they put out something I like that's a similar likelihood to the wolfpack to never be made officially, I'll definitely buy some either way. Huge thanks to the anon that first posted about these here, don't think I would've known about them otherwise.
