>>6772359It's really weird, longhaul's gun kind of half transforms, tabs in and forms his taint, which is a design choice I don't think I've ever seen before. I figured it was a terrible idea when I got to that part of the instructions, but once you get it in there it's basically rock solid. The hip skirts kinda flop around and like to pop off, but the actual hip assembly holds together very well. The hips themselves are ratchets to the sides and VERY tight friction hinges forward.
>>6772360Mixed bag in robot mode, the other 4 are all pretty good to surprisingly good, but scrapper is garbage at being a robot. They're all very good as vehicles, and surprisingly solid combined so far. A whole lot of the gestalt part is gonna depend on hook having good connections to the arms and lower body though, so things could still go sideways. He's pretty much the best combiner I've handled from the waist down so far though, which is really weird. They feel cheap, but definitely not what i'd expect for the $10-$15 they go for. The plastic feels slightly better than hasbro stuff in places.
If you're good with having like two feet of green and purple plastic chilling out on your desk, I'd probably get the new oversized one that's coming out. It'll probably be beefier, and better in general. This guy is pushing what I have room for even missing half a torso, so I'm sticking it out.
