Note that I’m not making a statement about quality between the two lines, I love the legacy props and I can’t see Hasbro doing as good a job with those as Bandai in that regard. Certainly they will with the figures, but the Legacy prop stuff was some of the best items Bandai of America ever produced. But if Hasbro has the ability to produce such a product then there is no need to license someone else for it.

When you go to a store and see Optimus Prime Hostess cupcakes and My Little Pony girls underwear on the shelves those items aren’t produced by Hasbro. They grant a license to another company to produce those items. If they’re treating it like a main brand, which they should, then that means it’s likely they would grant licenses in that manner. But as far as granting licenses to other toy manufacturers I don’t see that happening, since they have that market covered.
