Had a bit of a Star Wars spree last week!
I bought Luke because he was cheap and I anticipate the BS Snowspeeder going on sale for Black Friday; wanna be prepared! For "just" a pilot figure, Luke looks absolutely fantastic. The sculpt is excellent (including the face!) and the butterfly joints in the shoulders was a nice surprise. Extremely happy with Luke even without the speeder.
Hoth Trooper is also excellent with a plethora of display options. I hope we get an Endor commando with the same level of options and accessories.
Hadn't planned to buy Yakface, but when I saw him in-store I just couldn't resist. He's so delightfully goofy looking! I love the glossy paint apps around his nostrils to make them look wet, haha.
Never got Clone Wars Kenobi back in the day, so I'm glad we're getting another chance at him. Articulation is a bit limited; he has the simple swivel hips (which i can kinda understand, it'd be a pain to work with the swivel/hinge hips when they're under his robes like that) and no upper torso joint. But, he looks awesome and my clones needed a general!
Haven't seen Resistance, but I highly recommend the Lego Vonreg's TIE. Fun build and the final result is super sturdy, looks great, and swooshes real well. I hope we see a Lego OT TIE Interceptor with a similar build soon.
