Then I noticed the gel was only really on the bottom of her hair to form the curls, so I just washed that to remove the last of the gel. I should have taken a before photo because it's like night and day. Her hair looked wet and clumpy before but now it's soft and smooth.
My housemate told me the braid in the back was a waterfall braid, which are super delicate and only half secured. So she tied this gorgeous plait in the back to keep it all in place.
