>>9912269I was 14 and I had already seen some Boo and GT era episodes on bootleg vhs tapes from sketchy "japanese" stores. Super Battle Collection also gave you a preview of later characters and Beckett DBZ collector magazines would show you the Japanese carddass sets with Boo era scenes which was super cool back then, it was like a unique preview of what was going to come soon. I do remember wondering when Brolly would show up in the tv series though lol.
