>>8755477Yeah, they have too much dark stuff too in my opinion. I think that Tarn looks great, but maybe this is because he was composed as a dark figure from the very start. Star Saber's lights complement his normal form well, but not the dark one. And I even like dark colors, but in this case he has a more particular design with his red paint and the blue lights has originally has. You see it from afar and know it's him, for the SDCC one I have to click on the thumbnails to know for sure if it's him or some other purple bot.
Maybe it would be different for people that do not own any of these toys, but if you already own Tarn, Megatron and are maybe even interested in some other dude like SG Prime or The Fallen I cannot imagine anybody to choose dark Star Saber over red/white Star Saber.
