>>8058410>>8058470Really glad to hear from you! I was thinking you might have gotten lost when the last thread 404'd.
I love that you use Paint as well, I'm an old man and that's what I learned and still all I am good at. I don't use papercraft for anything other than things that would be made of paper. So, posters, pizza boxes, money, etc etc. Sometimes I use regular paper and sometimes cardstock. I'm not sure why it's all blurry there for you, did you try to resize it? Here's something small I printed from that site, a couple of different currencies, and it came out ok without any editing.
>and yeah i like them a lotI could tell before but man, the kids playing upstairs gave me that tingly feeling in my sinuses just before tears come on. It's so sweet.
Where'd you get that dish with the fried egg? That would make a nice sized meal for a 1:12 figure.
>speaking of ebay, is this overpriced? Not at about a buck each, no. Not for that sort of detail.
>I bought a couple but just realized they just used this (below) plus a clear resin and straw in a cup. how easy would it be to make these (above)?Hey didn't use those, I have some of those. They're far too big to fit into those common clear Chinese cups, which I also have some of. Those are for gluing on the back of cell phone cases. I'll get them out and one of the glasses and show you the scale difference. As for how easy it would be to make that, if you can find the smaller fruit slices, or anything else, it's just a cost issue. You want clear resin and then you want to slowly mix it so you get no bubbles, or you can use the stuff they use to make fake water in vases for fake flowers. I'll take a pictures for you as well for that.
It's really a cost issue. If you want to spend $30-$60 to make your own drinks, meals, fish tanks, puddles,, put water in your cooking pots, etc then it's worth it. IF you only want a few drink glasses with stuff in them go with the pre-made Chinese stuff.
