So, I bought that new Iron Man figure, mostly for parts, and...
...surprisingly, it's actually a pretty good set.
There aren't any retarded colors hidden inside of the figure besides a single yellow axle, the low position of the shoulder balljoints isn't as terrible irl as it is on photos and gets somewhat hidden by the arms "flowing" into the shoulderpads (for some reason it kinda reminds me of that old Duke Nukem Forever NECA action figure with its initially awkward shoulder joints) and the articulation is also pretty decent - not sure whose chocolate starfish the designer had to tongue in order to be allowed to add knees, elbows and even a hip-swivel joint.
If you want to greatly increase the posability of the legs you might want to remove the outer bushings on the hip joints, though.
Still has some fuck ups like the display plate sticker just having "Infra-red" under special features (whatever, the stickers wander straight into the trash, anyway), the LED effect for the Arc reactor looks kinda shit since it uses an orange LED instead of a blue or white one and overall, while it does indeed look like like an Iron Man armor, it doesn't really look like the MK43 one, even IF you would slap those stickers on it.
Not sold on the painted gold parts, either but at least they didn't put them on the bottom of the feet like on the Monkey King Mech where they become (even more) prone to scratches.
I'd also recommend rotating the small curved pieces that make up the kneepads upwards so that they slightly cover the kneejoints better which otherwise stand out a bit too much.
