Since it seems like this was Hasbro's worst selling wave in a while, how would you havd saved it? The movie wasn't good enough to support the toy sales unfortunately, but how would you have changed things so the wave would have sold a little better outside of film dependence?
First, I suggest that they should have gone with a better BAF. Was anyone pining for a Kree Sentry at all? Especially one so hilariously out of scale with six inch figures? They should have used this oppurtunity to make a new Ronan comic BAF. Maybe not a movie one, since the Studios one is still kind of hanging around, but I think a comic styled one could have helped.
Secondly, replace the jacketed Carol. I have no idea why they even made this one. Even though she's more often associated with X-Men, Mystique originally appeared in a Ms.Marvel comic. So add her to the wave, and replace that awful golden tommygun with a BAF head.
I dunno. This wave really did seem like wasted potential. A good way to get some more cosmic/upgraded characters, and instead, it was directly headed for clearance city.
