>>6516872>>6516702I know we're all pretentious and snobby now that Bandai is making shit as nice as the SS SHFs, but if you were actually around and collecting back then you'll know that the One Piece SHFs were DRASTICALLY worse than the others around at the time. Bandai was making pretty good toys at the time--some even stand up pretty well today, like Gills. The One Piece SHFs were a shock when they first dropped. People talk about old Dragonball SHFs being bad, but nah. They were nowhere near the same level. People LOVED the Dragonball SHFs when they first came out. There was no such reception for the One Piece figures. Personally, I think Bandai fucked up so hard that they're burying the memory and pretending it never happened. Which also means no 2.0s. I'd be very surprised if they went back to that particular franchise.
