Back when I used to make more anime-style plush I would get a few neckbeards from time to time. They could be differentiated from the rest of the bad potential customers by how ANGRY they'd get when I would refuse their 'generous' offering of $30 for an articulated doll of their waifu of the week. They'd jump immediately to 'IT'S NOT WORTH AS MUCH AS YOU CHARGE I COULD MAKE IT BETTER YOU JUST NEED TO GIVE ME YOUR PATTERN I'LL SHOW YOU'. I sold me patterns, but they were always too cheap for the $10 download so they'd just eventually burn themselves out and leave.
That's part of why I switched to furry cosplay things. Sure now I get the occaisional loon trying to pay me in dog hair, but they don't get as angry over pricing.
