I'm curious what goblins you're talking about. Tolkien's goblins, for example, were confirmed to be just another name for orcs.
They are very similar in stature to Warhammer goblins, and DnD goblins. And they have the goblin hooked nose and pointy ears that I'd consider standard these days.
I get the impression you are confused about the size of the goblins, they aren't as tall as the regular figures.
