>>10109019i think the reason that avengers cartoon is so universally forgotten is because of how bland it turned out. there are certain aspects of it that entertain me (ant-man's design and the fact that he's leader, the fact that none of the big name avengers are present, the power rangers esc belt buckles, the sentai transformations, etc) but it was sorely lacking some extra punch. Ultron and Antman are the only two good looking designs from that series imo. Everyone else ranges from "meh" to "okay" at best. Tigra and Wonderman for example didnt even get much of a redesign. Both of them look exactly like they did in the 1980s. Part of Unlimited's appeal for me was the odd collection of characters they were restricted to. Avengers UTS needed some of that limitation. Imagine if they had included revamps of some oddball heroes like 3D-Man for the 1990s.
