That mixing those styles would create a very disjointed toyline, thus generalized them to fit together
The same stance when i found out a collector toy company with actual talent can actually make their toys look like the actual art from comics in 2000 (or around there) and create entire lines based only on that specific series/book/cartoon?
Two different expectations, because i realize what they're trying to do and why they do it.
