Don't know if it's THE best, but it's in the top ten. Just the fact that such an iconic character from a franchise based on toys didn't have a screen accurate (not for lack of trying) for so long and the insane amount of engineering (the figure pretty much turns inside out) to make it work is amazing. It certainly has flaws, but it's the best of the year for me.
MP BW Megatron is also very impressive, but didn't need the engineering feats that Dinobot did.
