I would have to agree....IF this were like 4-5 years ago. Right now most 3rd parties produce much higher quality figures for just a little bit more than an equivalent price of a HasTak figure (talking Masterpiece 3rd party figures here, not CHUG stuff.)
Pic related, MX-II Andras (Behind the MP-28 Hotrod) is a $150 figure, a figure of the same size and quality from Takara would be the same price, maybe more considering the amount of die-cast this guy has, and those individually articulated fingers.
