>>10237735Being honest with what you love is important but not letting something like toy collecting get out of control is really important because its ultimately an act of endless consumption and hording which looks pretty insane from the outside.
Finding someone with your exact interests is also a poor objective for dating and can ultimately backfire. A smart woman wants to know that you're a functional adult regardless of your other qualities and interests. That decision is extrapolated quite quickly based on first impressions. If the first thing you mention is your toy room and it's a focus of your conversation it becomes a strong reflection of your personality. Men with toys, cars and guns are the exact same thing as women with crystals, shoes and bags; don't expect anyone else to give a shit about em, even your fellow collectors. My displays are in my office, Ill mention vintage toys as an interest if asked but think its import not to impose personal hobbies on people, especially those you're hoping to fuck and spend time with.
You can help your cause by also diversifying your hobbies into more creative avenues. My partner didn't give a shit about my toys for 6 years until I started doing restoration jobs and building sets for stop motion.
tl;dr find someone who respects you for having a personal interest, be the kind of person who doesn't abuse that.
