Speaking of Spitfires, a few questions. Currently building my first plane, pic unrelated.
1) What's a good substitute for stretched sprues and dedicated rigging materials for wires/rigging (like the Spitfire's radio/IFF)? Depending on how the Tamiya Spitfire goes I might move on to the Fairey Swordfish.
2) I'm building the N3200 variant in Tamiya's kit. The instructions call for the wires on both the radio and the IFF but looking at some period photos it looks like it didn't have the IFF wires (then again the only period photos I could find were of the crash) and some forums say that early configs were already phasing out the long tail to antenna radio wire. The restoration also had both the radio wire and the IFF wires. Was wondering if anyone could share some light on the matter
