>>8047858My own local stores saw the line selling briskly up until fall/winter, which was around the time the exclusives were supposed to come out.
So it lines up with the exclusives heading into Rosses/Marshalls/etc, because the tailend shit wasn't selling. So that's like 3-4 waves that did sell vs the last 2 not.
Also, you have to remember that stores generally order a fuckton of movie products. Whereas the 25th and MU line got normal sales. IT's hundreds of thousands vs millions.
Also also, the last wave of the 25th wasn't ordered by a lot of stores, as they wanted to prepare for the movie shit.
This affected the 30th line/PoC line as well.
>>8047853real shit is boring. Sales usually go up for the more fantastical elements are introduced, hence even HAsbro doing neon garbage and making the cobra troopers more specialized and distinct.
Personally, i like boring, but i like muh alley vipers more.
I think Hasbro really needs to stop being afraid of making a good shooter for GI Joe. Let someone be creative with the license, which has only helped grow the popularity of Batman, Spiderman, Star Wars, and brought GI Joe knockoffs like OVerwatch to the limelight.
Does this guy who took pic stilll collect GI Joes or any 1:18 lines?
