I will stand at the store and compare every figure on the shelf to get the one that has the best paint. Crooked tampo printings and walleyes ruin a toy for me. I'll even buy multiples if I can assemble one good toy and return the messed up parts as defective. if even one part is slightly wrong I can't stop thinking about it. I have bought as many as 4 of the same transformer just to make one "good" figure out of them.
I'll even do it with expensive toys like con exclusives. I will buy 2 or 3 $100 repaints of $20 figures just to cherry pick the best one.
I have a sickness in my head parts.
