>>10454050The older the belt or toys the more expensive stuff gets unless it has had specific reprints, it was a popular series, or people didn't care. Let me give a few examples:
1.) Prior to the Super Best reprint of the OOO belt the DX belt was hovering around $80-120 for just the base DX belt. Once the SB version came out the DX dropped to $60-80ish while the SB now sits at that original range.
2.) Prior to the Ver. 20th DX Sengoku Driver coming out a typical DX Sengoku Driver was anywhere from about $40-80 depending on if it was the complete version or not with Pineapple and the holder. Now a DX Sengoku Driver is about $30 on a non-complete version and the Pineapple Lockseed standalone went from about $16 to $30.
3.) Prior to the Complete Selection Modification Kiva Belt a typical DX Kiva belt ran the gamut from anywhere of $90 to $180 from my experience. Now the CSM is about $180ish while the DX sits at a comfortable $70-100.
4.) Hibiki items are cheap because no one wanted Disk Animals and the transformation items were all awful unless you liked the tuning forks which were cheap even at release.
Then there's the Hong Kong and Korean belts which change the sound chips. The HK sound chips are quieter due to different regulations and laws than the JP chips but they have the same Japanese writing if a toy comes with something that has writing on it and is usually half the price of the JP release. The Korean belts will change text to Korean and sometimes the sound chip to a Korean dub making them worthless. They're also usually just as expensive.
Everything prior to Hibiki is a moneysink, especially rare stuff like Another Agito's belt (Last I saw it was $350). Even more so if you want figures from that era. Have an example.
