>>9517786Even wet sanding mine for like 15mins per side, some striation still came through on the side panels. Considered sanding again after priming just to hope it'd look cleaner but at this point I think it's fine. We'll see once I get several coats of paint brushed on, especially since I'm gonna probably try salt weathering.
Control panel I also just said fuck it, sanded the face straight up so the buttons and the outer rim is clean, but I don't think it's possible to smoothen out the backing.
Also just FYI, getting those side cylinders to fit is gonna be a nightmare. I had to sand all sides of them and widen the holes on the body considerably and they still just barely fit.
