Been a fan of transformers for almost 30 years too. I guess I just perceive the character discussion as an equivalent to their bios: just enough to get me the idea across so that my imagination takes care of the rest. I don’t need to watch or read the material to appreciate the character basically. Just the toy and discussion is all.
