Couple recent builds, including the previously-mentioned Ausini assault rifle. The liquidation centre has stocked these for ages but I never had much interest in them, only picked this one up when they dropped the price by half to clear out overstock. Turned out to be a fun build, with nice little details and an interesting technique for putting the curve in the magazine. Wasn't going to apply the stickers but changed my mind, the magazine ones were tricky to get right. Clutch overall was good, though there's one trapezoid slope piece behind the carrying handle that's a bit loose, and the stock section is flimsy but that's more a weakness of the design. The bipod is detachable and is one of my favorite aspects of the set, providing a nice rest for display. The set also came with a pile of spare parts for some reason, they're on the box cover art but I'd assumed it was just for show, weird. Kinda want to get the AK-47 now but I don't recall seeing it in store in a while and it'll still be full price, not sure I want it that badly heh.
