Just sat down someday and asked myself "all that, and for what cost?".
I know I'll never be rich, at least not without giving up other things (like time, health, happiness, social life), so I just aim for a comfy middle ground.
The dolls are my only real luxury, and I get lots of it back, it's fun and not harming anybody...so why not?
Not having any kids really does help though.
