Completel noob here looking for advice. My boomer dad has decided he's going to make a model train display in the garage. He says he found some cheap Japanese 'Tomy' trains and now wants some matching tracks and accessories for his birthday. So he's basically just entering the hobby, and I know nothing about it.
I'm not too sure what the fuck he wants and being a boomer doesn't really have the capacity to explain what he actually wants. Anyone got some advice on some beginner tracks, trains, accessories, etc. I should get him to build his first display?
