The word "toyetic" has been thrown around a lot in history but when is it really warranted? This might seem like a really retarded question but think back to how many toylines and tv shows flopped like a motherfucker compared to others. What makes a toyline REALLY warranted to be a good toy line? Someone told me if it sounds like a good idea for a toy and be made into a full-fledged character in a story, that's one good example, but that's all speculation. What's the BIGGEST toy series you can think of and WHY do you think it's huge? There's probably a bit more to it than "memorable, interesting characters", because I've seen FAR too many good series with this in mind that flopped (Operation Aliens, Mighty Max, Captain Simian, etc).
