>>11311021....I don't really know what's happening here. Other the warrior dude changing into kitty pajamas, it don't look that different. I don't mean to dismiss people's preferences and opinions. but the legions "Mezoamerican" inspired designs seem just as accurate as their "viking" inspired designs and their "spartan" inspired designs. Which is to say, not accurate at all.
>>11312239I never even made that connection of the black wolf to Van Helsing. But I'm still of the mind that people hated that movie as I remember it came out and did not do well. I guess it grew a cult following over the years and I just never noticed, but I could understand if people liked it.
>>11312693So they do about 3-4 major "Wave" pre-orders a year, mixed between Cosmic and Mythic (though mostly the latter) lines. They also do various in-stock sales of Con exclusive re-releases and for the past few years have mixed them with new Legion Builder(less painted but lower priced army builders) specific sales. They also release about 3-4 "Figure Obscura" figures a year, usually with very little notice. These figures are based on pop-culture mythical beings, and Halloween/Christmas themed releases. But overall, they're usually having some sort of sale at least once a month these days...which is honestly hard to keep up with.
And in other news, I finally got my ship notice for the figures I got from the in-stock sale! I grabbed a snakeman, the half orc with antlers and some previously released but not "old" figures, so it's not a huge amount. But I'm still happy they're finally moving.
So to celebrate, I'm posting a very poorly taken pic that has absolutely nothing to do with anything that has been discussed featuring figures from two completely different toylines!
