I still personally would think the best way to capture an mp is the best of both worlds, despite the supposed lack of detail mp-36 still had the inner leg details making a toy redeco a possibility.
If takara wanted to be lazy they could do a mp03=mp11 retool job and just make a new lower half, flatter crotch that actually transforms, simpler leg detailings, perhaps a new head.
Because the truck is fine and upper half is perfection since it carries near around the same detailing as megatron's legs, so even not painting the yellow markings on prime's arms would work well
