>>8515942>>8515957Ah, okay then.
Well, for the Toa Masters, while I do like most of their looks, I’ll have to say that I like Pohatu Master the most from that wave. He seems to be the least restricted by him armor, can be in a ton of poses and has a lot of flexibility. With some of the other ones, they seemed like you have to move pauldrons and switc around armor prices. With Pohatu, you can just pick him up and play with him then and there. Then again, I didn’t get to get most of them, just Pohatu and Kopaka, because the Toa Masters were rather popular where I shopped at. But, based on some reviews, and images, the rest look a bit cumbersome. I know Kopaka Master is definitely a bit too bulky for his own good, he has the flexibility of an astronaut in their space suit.
As for the Toa Uniters, that’s a bit harder, I like most of their designs, and some of aren’t as cumbersome as their previous incarnation. I really like Kopaka’s looks, and his sword design is pretty cool, as well as the concept of his shield also being an elemental blaster. However, his shoulders get in the way of some poses, and you have to pose them in a certain way, then move them back where you want them, as a lien or work around. Other than that, he’s great.
But I also like the way Onua looks, he’s almost the perfect balance of bulky and strong-looking, yet still but but not too far where he doesn’t look like he’s part of the same team. And his color scheme is *chef’s kiss*.
Pohatu, he’s good, he’s still mostly a good “pick up and play” figure, like his last one. But his weapon needs to be adjusted some. It’s a good idea in concept, his weapons is, and I like how they brought back him having a rock with him, like a bit of a call back to his Toa Mata set. But, I don’t know, something about it seems kind of off, I guess. His color scheme is okay, i guess, it just needed more browns/burnt orange.
My reply is too log, I’ll make another post.
