i think i accidentally figured out something that can be used for chipping, especially smaller scale stuff
i took a glob of white (or any) oil paint that was drying out and put it in a tiny jar with mineral spirits (trying to make a panel liner/wash/not waste it)
the oil paint ended up drying into a gunky silt floating in the mineral spirits and stuck to the sides.,
if you load up your brush with the silty stuff and make dots the silt expands and floats in the spirits and can be moved around.. the particles get so fine that they dont show up in the pic anymore (why it might be good for smaller scales)
the painted area is like 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches
