I've been making my FAGs match the size of my MDs, so one of my last stops is the torso mod. It includes making a new torso joint so 1. It will be roughly MD sized once the pieces are cut 2. Getting more articulation for bending forwards and backwards.
How did I manage to make a FAG waist and torso connect like an MD?
Widening the torso and pinching the waist.
Pic related, these are my three approaches to the new torso joint using spare gunpla parts. [A] is using a normal swivel joint with a stick attached to the FAG polycap at the end. is using a Ballden Arms joint, pretty much. [C] is using a swivel joint with a stick (heated and ) bent at an acute angle to some more axes of movement.
I'd like to hear from the thread on which joint structure I should commit to.
