...Personally, I'd go for a TIE/X-wing sort of Hybrid; My biggest issue with the TIE is those huge radiators/solar panels that take up SOO MUCH SPACE!
They have folding shit all over the series, why not make a TIE with folding Radiators/Solar Panels so you can CRAM MORE OF THEM INTO YOUR SHIPS!!!
