The entire front of the toy is literally a solid plastic slab that doesn't line up with the anatomy of the core bot beneath it at all. I'm sure it *could* be done, but it require such a serious change to the originall overall form factor of the G1 toy that it wouldn't stay true to the aesthetic guidelines of the toyline as defined by the existing releases.
