https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQXiiVQZoPM Fusion is also different from maya in that its more number based modeling, where you insert numbers to get the type of look you want . The program really tries to create everything to scale so you know exactly how big your model will be when it's printed, it's also less fiddly if you don't know computer modeling.
Maya on the other hand is more for people working in the animation and film area. I use maya due to being able to work between maya and zbrush really fast, but thats because I have more exp. with maya due to studying 3d modeling for animation. and its just easier to import files with zbrush's GOZ (goz creates seamless workflow between programs).
Overall I suggest using fusion 360 if your not into learning modeling and want to mess around with a program that gives you fast results, plus you know a little auto cad so it'd be way easier to transition into this program than maya.
