>>10051560I got into them because I've always liked soft things and plushies are a good way to satisfy the urge to pet something. My general collecting mindset is get anything that feels good and is somewhat cute, even if I don't care much about the brand or character.
I'd say my favorite one is this since it's one my girlfriend got custom made for me and we designed it together. It's somewhat based on her. I do have a close bond with this one and some others but most of them are just in my collection because they feel good. One thing that helps me make a bond is that I do a character survey with them and give them their own identity.
I'd say I'm a little bit elitist but only against ones that are overhyped cough squishmallows cough.
