If you can't accept and personally justify that this is a hobby that has a large upfront and maintenance cost, then it just isn't a hobby for you. That's fine, there are cheaper alternatives., but Resin BJD just aren’t a poor person's hobby.

I have an outfit that I bought for a doll 4 years ago, but I still haven't got the doll because life keeps taking priority over my doll savings. And that's fine. That's just how it is being a person who earns less in the BJD hobby.

Unfortunately, waiting seems to be one of the vices that leads to recasts and a swarm of cheap/incomplete dolls.
