This whole “the prequels were good” historical revisionism has been so weird to experience. People spent 15-20 years knowing the prequels were bad and then suddenly (roughly the same time Disney came into the picture?) people started trying to pass them off as good.
Is it the people who were 5 when they came out and are just blinded by childhood nostalgia?
Or is it people trying to pretend the prequels are good so they can bolster their argument that the sequels are worse (because you can’t really argue that Disney & KK ‘ruined’ Star Wars if Lucas already did it 20 years ago).
I'd pretty much consider the prequels and sequels to be on par with each other. You can find lots of things to criticise and things to enjoy.

Anyway, the new Vader/Obi-Wan Ralph McQuarrie set looks fun, I hope that means maybe some more McQuarrie inspired figures might be in the works if it does well enough.
I have to imagine that a Starkiller and Boba Felt will eventually happen because they're just too cool a design not to.
They already did the Snowtrooper as part of the Gaming Greats
