In the end it couldnt even be bothered to pretend that Trunks and Pan mattered to the story and gradually dropped everyone unless they were on the screen to actively serve as a powerup for Goku.
It couldnt even be bothered to pretend Uub mattered, dropping his black ass as soon as it could.
Had the space adventures been Goten trunks and uub, the story would have been far more interesting.
