My first Vonado shipping finally arrived. If you wanna hear me ramble about it, you can do so here:

Otherwise I'll offer you this blogpost:
I paid a total of just over 30$ (free shipping criterium) for over 650 parts. I mostly got parts in colours that Lego doesn't produce, but added a few that just ended up being cheaper than the Lego counterpart would be on Bricklink. While I'm super stoked about the added colour variety in my inventory, there are a few things I want to adress. The "old" type of ball joint lacks clutch power in the axle connection, so using them on shoulders or hips is sadly not going to happen. It should check out for wrists and ankles. Both the Mixel and the regular ball joints and sockets have higher than average friction, so for now I'll sort of build a trial moc or two to see the long term effects in terms of stressing the parts, that goes for the hinge parts too. Pins and axles are lego-tier. When it comes to colour I didn't notice imperfections in shade from one piece to another. However the pearl-gold alltogether is more like a brown-gold. That's cool and all and they'll look great on any Po-Matoran I guess, but they're just not lego pearl-gold.
That's everything negative I have to say. All the clear and translucent pieces are awesome, no scratches, no milky look whatsoever. Some of the pieces are rather matte looking, but I don't mind. Honestly if I didn't place a second order already, I would do so now.
