Quick heads up that you should consider creating physical elements of your game in Lego to test and acquire a unique sense of awareness of your game's world you wouldn't be able to experience in any other way.
You would be surprised at the amount of parallels between building with Lego and game design and how much one can benefit the other, at the end of the day they are both forms of interactive architecture.
It's a well known fact that the best gamedevs are also Lego fans or at very least played with Lego as kids. Hell, Minecraft, the most successful indie gamedev of all time, is pretty much a virtual version of playing with legos.
