I painted up the inner robot thighs and toes silver, evened out the shitty 'battle damage' paint I didn't realize he had (i'm also noticing some actual deliberate asymmetrical chipping and cuts on some armor parts, I guess he's been through some shit) with solid silver, then added the dark blue-gray and i think it works okay.. I tried making the blue a lot darker but then it clashes and makes the silvery brown-gray look too light and too brown. Actually, considering that I have no real desire to make this guy 'optimus primal' I might swap the blue out for something else, dark bronze or something.
