It's just my assumption that the current state of the economy is the driving factor behind the price hike, and Lenny bringing it up in that exchange is no coincidence. The current older pre-orders still have the old price, but a number of those are showing up in Europe now. Kamakura is the only one to be priced at over $30 currently, and appears to be the new price. And so we can assume he may be the price going forward.
Things will only get worse too.
